Introduction

Health Export ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Health Export iOS application.

Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to external servers. Health Export operates entirely on your device.

Apple HealthKit Data

Health Export reads health data from Apple HealthKit with your explicit permission. This data is used solely to generate export files (JSON or CSV) that are stored locally on your device.

Read-only access: We only read health data. We never write to or modify your HealthKit data.
On-device processing: All health data processing happens entirely on your device. No health data is ever sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.
No iCloud storage: The app does not store HealthKit data in iCloud. If you choose to share an export file via the iOS Share Sheet (e.g., to iCloud Drive, email, or AirDrop), that is your explicit choice and action.
No third-party sharing: We do not share your health data with any third parties, advertisers, analytics services, or data brokers.

Data Types Accessed

With your permission, Health Export may read the following HealthKit data types:

Steps, distance, and flights climbed
Active energy burned and exercise minutes
Heart rate, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability
Body measurements (weight, body fat percentage)
Blood oxygen saturation and VO2 Max
Nutrition data (water, protein, carbohydrates, fat)
Sleep analysis and mindful minutes
Workout data

You can control which data types Health Export can access through the iOS Health app settings at any time.

In-App Purchases

Health Export offers optional premium features via in-app purchases (yearly subscription and lifetime purchase). These transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Local Storage

Exported health data files are saved to the app's local Documents directory on your device, accessible via the iOS Files app under "On My iPhone > HealthExport". These files remain entirely under your control.

Analytics and Tracking

Health Export does not use any analytics services, tracking tools, advertising frameworks, or crash reporting services. We collect zero usage data.

Children's Privacy

Health Export is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
